Hello Fellow Springfield Disc Golfers,
You are invited to the next club meeting. Any current 2015 club members and anyone that would like to join the club that evening is welcome to attend. The club membership is $20 which includes a club shirt or disc and a bag tag.
Elections will be held at this meeting. Any club member can bring up topics during the meeting. In addition to the elections, Steve Vose the tournament of the 2014 Capitol City Challenge will provide a summary of the tourney.

The elections with take place at the next club meeting. The club meeting date has not been set yet. To vote you have to be a 2015 current member(you can sign up or renew at the club meeting). To vote you must attend the meeting.
Everyone welcome. League is free your first time. $1 fee to help with course maintenance after first time. All skill levels welcome.
2015 Club Membership is now available. The 2014 club membership was from October 2013 CCC and expired October 2014 CCC tourney. 2015 Club membership is $20 per year and includes a 2015 metal bag tag, mini, and your choice of a club shirt or club stamped disc. Your club membership also gives you voting privileges. Steve Vose, Club Vice President is in charge of club membership. You can text him about club membership ph. 2179727166. Sometimes league directors have membership packets also.
You may also join the club at the next club meeting. TBA
Please email your nominations to the club email address firstname.lastname@example.org. Steve Vose the current Vice President will collect the nominations for Treasurer and Course Maintenance Officer. The President, Scott Murphy will accept the nominations for the Vice President since Steve is the current Vice President. A club member nominated for more than one elected position shall choose the preferred position before November 1st.
To be nominated for Vice President or Treasurer a member must have been an active member for 24 consecutive months.

Basic Information for the 2014 Capital City Challenge. PDGA C-Tier
Pre-registration at pdga.com(no transaction fee)
Day of Registration 8:00-9:30 at Douglas Park. Player’s meeting at 10am
Lunch provided at Douglas Park after first round. 2nd Round at Lincoln Park Original 18 hole layout. Only Open Divisions and Advanced Men will be playing blue tees. Advanced age protected divisions and all other divisions will be playing reds tees.
Cost: Open Division- $35 Advanced $30 Intermediate $25 Recreational $20 Novice $20 Juniors $15. *For Non-PDGA members, there will be an additional $10 entry fee.

Leagues are at Douglas Park for Saturdays in June – start time is 10am.
Mark your calendars…
The plan is to have a club meeting on Wednesday May 28th starting at 5:30 at Lincoln Park with the club providing food for the cook out. Some disc golfers will get there early to grill so the burgers and brats will be ready at 5:30. The plan is to have the club meeting completed by 6:30. Clark will organize some disc golf activity for that evening following the club meeting. This would be a great opportunity to invite out new and old disc golfers to learn more about the club and get some distance throwing lessons from C.lark. Also we can complete more course maintenance after the meeting.
